Village Heritage

The estate does not exist in isolation, and this half-day is the clearest way to understand the place it sits in. We visit the villages along the valley road and the people who work there.

Depending on the day that might mean a weaver, a cheesemaker, a beekeeper or a stonemason — all long-standing partners of the resort, all visited on their terms and paid properly for their time.

Lunch is taken locally, not at the estate.
